What I'll be doing this summer at the NYT

A few updates on what I’ll be doing at The New York Times this summer (which is still definitely very fun to say!):

-I'll be a member of "the editing SWAT team for the newsroom on nights and weekends."

(So, this means I'll be working, you guessed it -- lots of nights and weekends. I’ve spent the past year doing early mornings - sorry, biological clock. BUT I am naturally a night owl. 😁 )

-The desk I'll be working on is entirely digital-focused (so, sorry, nothing in print from me this summer.) I'll get to play with lots of videos, graphics, newsletters, briefings, Instagram posts, Times Insider content, and interactives on top of the digital story editing.

-Also, I’ll have a MacBook this summer, so time to reorient myself after a year of PC life.
