Where I'll be living this summer

I'll be living in a Second Street apartment through New York University in the East Village (it's student housing during the year, but they rent it out to students working in New York for the summer). It's close to the Lower East Side, Soho, Chinatown, and Little Italy. Washington Square Park is about a 10-minute walk northwest of me.

Also exciting: The famous Katz's Delicatessen is a 5-minute walk south, there's a cookie dough ice cream place nearby, and Shake Shacks are abundant. Plus, there's a gorgeous old neighborhood church to tour (The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral)!
